Inserted in the prestigious engineering University complex designed by architect Daniele Donghi, Lecture Hall “R” required a radical restoration by SICEA Srl.
The work focused on the complete demolition and reconstruction of the roof with attention to insulation and energy efficiency.
The study of acoustics allowed not only the creation of a space with adequate surfaces but also the choice of multimedia technologies suitable for in-presence and distance teaching. The design of the interior spaces and the choice of furniture promotes inclusive teaching through the removal of all forms of architectural barriers.
