Anatomical Theatre Restoration – Padua

The historic complex of the Morgagni Anatomical Theatre needed restoration that would maintain the elements of historical/artistic interest and adapt spaces to be used again as a prestigious academic medical classroom.

The interior spaces had not been used for several years so a complete restoration of the interior spaces was necessary, as well as a conservative restoration of all furniture. The reorganization of the interior space facilitated the inclusion of devices to break down architectural barriers and make the historic theater more inclusive and accessible.

The new facility has seen the creation of an air filtration system that, integrated with the anatomical rooms, allows for efficient management of space refrigeration. To enhance the teaching experience, audio and video electrical systems were built to be able to attend academic anatomy lectures.
